Well Spanked Man

While browsing various blogs this morning, I came across a wonderful F/m spanking story at Malflic, Tempting Sensations, and Lust, entitled Teaching Him a Lesson

“I’d stop laughing if I was you. Since you find a way to work the word spanked into every conversation possible I figured it was time to address your interest.” He was now sitting up and taking notice, she had his attention but it might not exactly what he was thinking.

“I’m going to turn your bottom bright red.” He started to protest, to explain his actions and stopped just short of admitting that he thought about spanking quite often. She was not amused.

I found this bit particularly interesting. At university I studied, among several other majors, psychology. One thing we learned is that in sexual situations an individual often plays at performing a behavior which  they would like done upon themself. And while this example falls well short of the  kind of good communication required in any spanking relationship, it was an icebreaker.

Breaking the ice with a prospective spanking partner is often the hardest part. While I have been married for over a decade, I did have other spanking partners prior to my wife. Actually, I can’t think of any girlfriend or sexual partner who did not spank me, and often I spanked her as well. What I did was to “pre-qualify”  my partners of old.

Unfortunately this was not as easy as it is for credit card companies, but it did save much frustration down the road. I have always been a spanko, and I really could not abide a vanilla relationship. When I would meet a prospective partner I would make jokes about spanking, and see how she reacted. I often employed a now antiquated internet phenomenon called the Purity Test. Playing it (out-loud, in real life, not some website version) among a moderately sized group, it was fairly easy to see who might be amenable to spanking. I also frequented settings where these kinds of behavior would not be inappropriate.

I do not recommend a man continuously harass his girlfriend with bottom smacks and innuendo out of a forlorn hope she will decide to turn the tables. But, as a way of scouting for a new partner, spanking jokes and the like certainly help to identify a fellow kinkster.
